This is a fantastic opportunity for UAE nationals studying law to undertake two weeks' work experience in the Abu Dhabi office of Akin, located in Abu Dhabi Global Market Square, the heart of Abu Dhabi’s new central business district.
The Role
Our two-week internship offers an exciting opportunity to experience life at Akin. Under the supervision of Wael Jabsheh, partner in charge of the Abu Dhabi office, you will work alongside qualified solicitors and gain exposure to a wide range of cross-border legal matters.
You will sit within the corporate practice and have the chance to develop practical legal skills, including research and drafting, while also observing client interactions and the day-to-day operations of an international law firm.
We are currently looking to recruit two interns.
What We Look For
- Possesses strong communication, interpersonal and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail, well organized and able to multitask.
- Works well both independently and in a group.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office preferred, however, training will be provided.
Recruitment Process
Stage 1

Internship Dates
The internship runs over two-weeks (unless otherwise agreed) in our Abu Dhabi office and will take place in December 2024 / January 2025. Exact internship dates will be confirmed with the selected individuals closer to that time.
You must be available to spend a minimum of two weeks in our Abu Dhabi office.
