House E&C Advances TAKE IT DOWN Act

Summary
On April 8, 2025, the House E&C Committee advanced the TAKE IT DOWN Act (H.R. 633) out of Committee by a vote of 49-1. Rep. Yvette Clarke (D-NY) was the lone “no” vote against the bill. The bill now heads to the House floor. The Act would criminalize the publication of non-consensual intimate imagery (NCII) in interstate commerce.
