Akin Again Named Among ‘Healthiest Employers’ of New York City

Akin has again been named in the top three of the Healthiest Employers for New York City, ranking third in the “1,000 to 4,999 employees” category. The annual contest celebrates “companies that prioritize their people by investing in their employees' health.”

In the profile, the firm is noted for continuing to “advocate for mental well-being in the legal sector” and prioritizing “mental health and well-being in the legal industry.”

Akin took first place in the Healthiest Employers of New York City in the “200 to 1,499 employees” category in 2023 and first place in the “0 to 1,499 Employees” category in 2022.    

Earlier this year, the firm was ranked in the top three in the Healthiest Employers contests for Southern California and Texas. The firm ranked second in Texas in the “500 to 1,499 employees” category and ranked third in the Southern California rankings for the “1,000 – 4,999 employees” category.
