Akin Again Receives Perfect Score on Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s Corporate Equality Index
For the 17th year in a row, Akin has earned a score of 100 on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s Corporate Equality Index (CEI), the nation’s leading benchmarking tool for evaluating a company's LGBTQ+ workplace inclusion policies.
The CEI rates companies on detailed criteria based upon four central pillars: non-discrimination policies across business entities; equitable benefits for LGBTQ+ workers and their families; supporting an inclusive culture; and corporate social responsibility.
Akin’s perfect score showcases the firm’s dedication to advancing LGBTQ+ equality in the workplace and the firm’s commitment to inclusive workplace policies and practices. At Akin, diversity and inclusiveness are a key part of the firm’s culture and deeply rooted in the firm’s values since Akin was founded nearly 80 years ago.
