Akin Earns Mansfield Certification Plus for Fifth Consecutive Year

Akin has achieved Mansfield Certification Plus for the fifth year in a row. This prestigious designation from Diversity Lab is the result of a rigorous year-long process aimed at ensuring that qualified talent within the firm have a fair and equal opportunity to advance into leadership roles. The Mansfield Certification focuses on “opening the door wider” to ensure that opportunities for advancement are inclusive for all.

To meet the Mansfield Certification standards, a firm must commit to having at least 30% of the talent pools for leadership roles include underrepresented groups. Additionally, the certification requires transparency in the advancement process. The “Plus” designation signifies that our firm has not only met these criteria but has also voluntarily reported progress and outcomes to Diversity Lab. This level of transparency underscores our dedication to fostering an inclusive and equitable workplace and highlights our measurable progress in achieving these goals.
