Akin Gump Takes Home Two Honors at Asia Legal Awards

(Hong Kong) – Akin Gump international trade partner Tatman Savio has been named International Trade Lawyer of the Year at the Asia Legal Awards 2020. This recognition follows Ms. Savio’s selection as “Best in international trade” at the Euromoney Legal Media Group Asia Women in Business Law Awards 2019. (Click here for more.)

In addition, China Singyes Solar Technologies’ debt restructuring, in which Akin Gump advised an ad hoc committee of noteholders, was named winner in the category of Finance Deal of the Year: Insolvency and Restructuring. (For more on that restructuring, please click here.)

The Asia Legal Awards honor the best work in the region across practice areas, as determined by the editorial staff of The Asian Lawyer. The Awards seek to “identify the most important transactions and cases with the most complex and outstanding legal work in Asia.”
