Akin Honored with Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program Pro Bono Award

Akin has been awarded the Bronze Award for Pro Bono Service by the Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program (DVAP) as part of the organization’s Annual Pro Bono Awards for 2024.

DVAP, a joint pro bono program of the Dallas Bar Association and Legal Aid of NorthWest Texas, presents awards each year to those who go above and beyond their call of duty. DVAP notes that the award recipients' efforts are what make DVAP a success, and the honorees are recognized for their outstanding efforts in the justice system.

Akin pro bono partner Steven Schulman accepted the award on behalf of Akin at DVAP’s 2024 Pro Bono Awards Ceremony on October 25 at the Arts District Mansion in Dallas, TX.
