Akin Litigation Team Earns Am Law ‘Litigator of the Week’ Shout Out
An Akin team led by litigation partners Stephen Baldini and Paul Butler received a Litigator of the Week “shout out” from The American Lawyer Litigation Daily.
The team was recognized for representing Daniel Chapman, Argentem Creek Holdings LLC and other Argentem entities in a critical win, as New York’s Appellate Division upheld the dismissal of a suit in New York Supreme Court that had accused Argentum Creek and Chapman of conspiring with other investors to enforce an allegedly fraudulent arbitral award of more than half a billion dollars involving the construction of a liquid natural gas plant.
In addition to Stephen and Paul, counsel Allison Coffin and Shanna Miles and associate Daniel Chasin were noted as part of the Akin team on the matter.
