Akin Makes Strong Debut in Southern California ‘Healthiest Employers’ Contest

Akin has been recognized in second place in Southern California in the “1000 to 4,999 Employees” category of Healthiest Employers’ annual competition. This is the first year the firm has been awarded recognition in the Southern California contest.

The Healthiest Employer contests were created to recognize “people-first organizations taking a more proactive approach to employee health.” Award applicants were evaluated across six key categories: Culture and Leadership, Foundational Components, Strategic Planning, Communication and Marketing, Programming and Interventions, and Reporting and Analytics.

Last month, the firm took first place in the Healthiest Employers contest for New York City in the “200 to 1,499 Employees” category (learn more here).
