Akin Named to Top 15 in Vault’s Most Prestigious Law Firm List

Akin has achieved top 15 firm rankings across industry-leading rankings from The American Lawyer and Vault in associate satisfaction, diversity, equity & inclusion (DEI) and pro bono work.

In the 2025 Vault 100, Akin secured the 17th position in the 'Best Law Firm to Work For' ranking. The Vault rankings are based on feedback from more than 20,000 associates nationwide regarding workplace issues related to career development, job satisfaction and quality of life as well as firms’ market reputation.

In the Am Law Pro Bono Scorecard, Akin achieved its highest ranking to date, placing 13th on the Am Law 200. Am Law ranks law firms based on average pro bono hours per lawyer and the percentage of lawyers with at least 20 hours of pro bono work. Our lawyers spent an average of 98.9 hours on pro bono work, with 75% of lawyers having spent at least 20 hours.

Akin made a remarkable leap in Am Law’s Diversity Scorecard rankings, climbing to 12th place among more than 200 ranked firms. The Diversity Scorecard looks at racial and ethnic diversity in the U.S. across firm leadership; partner hires, departures and promotions; and diversity among partners and all lawyers.

These achievements highlight Akin's dedication to fostering an inclusive workplace that values professional growth, community contribution through pro bono efforts and work/life harmony.
