Akin Once Again Named Among NLADA Beacon of Justice Honorees
Akin has been named among the recipients of the National Legal Aid & Defender Association’s (NLADA) Beacon of Justice Awards. This marks the 12th year the firm has earned this prestigious honor.
The awards honor law firms who have demonstrated an understanding of the interconnected nature of social categorizations such as race, gender, religion, sexual orientation and other characteristics that may create interdependent systems of discrimination or disadvantage.
The Beacon of Justice awardees will be celebrated at the 2024 NLADA Exemplar Awards Gala on June 6 in Washington, D.C.
