Akin Shortlisted for ‘Restructuring Team of the Year’ at 2023 Legal Business Awards

Akin has been shortlisted by Legal Business in the category “Restructuring Team of the Year” as part of the publication’s annual Legal Business Awards.
Akin’s shortlisted submission highlighted the firm’s lead role in the successful global chapter 11 restructuring of $6 billion in financial indebtedness of Nordic Aviation, the largest lessor of regional aircraft in the world.
Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on September 19, 2023.
In May, the $1.5 billion ED&F Man restructuring, on which Akin advised the holders of various private placement notes issued by ED&F Man Treasury Management plc, won Restructuring Deal of the Year in the IFLR Europe Awards 2023 (learn more here).
