Akin Trade Counsel Devin Sikes Appointed to Court of Int’l Trade Committee
The Court of International Trade, which provides “a comprehensive system for judicial review of civil actions arising out of import transactions and federal transactions affecting international trade,” has appointed Akin international trade counsel Devin Sikes to the court’s Rules Advisory Committee.
Per the court, the committee “is composed of experienced lawyers…devoted to the administration of justice in customs and international trade law…[who] perform an invaluable service to the Court by contributing significant time and effort on improving Court Rules and procedures for those practicing before the Court.”
Earlier this year, Devin was reappointed for the third time by the U.S. Trade Representative to serve on the U.S. roster for U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) Chapter 10 disputes (learn more here).
