Akin’s OverRuled Shortlisted for Legalweek Tech Law Award

Akin has been selected as a finalist in the “Regulatory, Governance and Compliance Technology” category as part of the 2024 Legalweek Leaders in Tech Law Awards.

The regulatory shortlisting recognizes the firm’s interactive OverRuled platform, designed to alleviate the burden of over-regulation for in-house lawyers and sanctions/export controls compliance practitioners.

The awards honor individuals and organizations for “achievements in innovation over the past year in a wide range of categories across law firms, legal departments and technology providers.”

Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony in New York on January 29, 2024.

Akin’s innovation-driven approach to client service was recognized recently at The American Lawyer Industry Awards, when OverRuled was given the Legal Services Innovation Award (learn more here).
