Amanda Butler-Jones Selected and Profiled for Washington Business Journal 40 Under 40 Awards

Akin investment management partner Amanda Butler-Jones has been selected and profiled among Washington Business Journal’s (WBJ’s) 40 Under 40 Awards honorees.
According to WBJ, the awards look to celebrate “the next generation of Greater Washington business elite,” with honorees selected based on their merits, achievements and contributions to their organizations and local community.
Amanda was profiled in a special WBJ publication honoring the Class of 2025 online and in print on February 14. In the profile, Amanda shares she loves advising on complex global matters in a dynamic environment, noting she regularly navigates highly sensitive and complex investment funds matters for major clients, including BlackRock Inc., Apollo Global Management and Mubadala Capital. She is also noted as co-chair of Akin’s Black Firmwide Resource Group.
Her profile further adds she serves as a board member of DC Appleseed, a nonprofit focused on making Washington, D.C. a better place to live and work. Amanda shares the best part of being a young professional in the D.C. region is the thriving and diverse range of industries and opportunities.
Amanda will be honored at WBJ’s 2025 40 Under 40 Awards event in Washington, D.C. on February 20.
