Chris Spicer, Dan Lynch Named to LABJ ‘Leaders of Influence’ List

Akin media, entertainment & sports practice head Chris Spicer and projects & energy transition partner Dan Lynch have both been named to Los Angeles Business Journal’s (LABJ’s) Leaders of Influence: Thriving in Their 40s list.

According to LABJ, the honorees were selected to this list based on a “demonstration of impact made on the profession and on the Los Angeles community.”

In Chris’ recognition profile, LABJ notes that he is among the most prominent entertainment finance lawyers in the country, leading high-visibility deals between production companies and financial institutions. In addition to his work within the film industry, Chris advises his clients on a multitude of music and gaming projects.

In Dan’s profile, LABJ recognizes him as a leader in the renewable energy space, where he focuses on complex transactions, particularly power hedges. Recently, Dan led Excelsior Energy Capital in a multiyear agreement with Fluence Energy to develop 2.2 GWh of battery energy storage systems across the U.S.
