D Magazine Again Selects Scott Barnard for “Dallas 500” List
Akin partner-in-charge of the Dallas and Fort Worth offices Scott Barnard has again been named in the professional services category of D Magazine’s “Dallas 500” list, in the Law: Managing Partners section.
The 2025 “Dallas 500” list, now in its 10th annual edition, features profiles of the most powerful and influential business leaders in North Texas. According to the publication, selections for the list are made by editors after months of research and hundreds of personal interviews.
Scott’s profile highlights a significant milestone he celebrated this past year – winning a crucial class action on behalf of his alma mater, Southern Methodist University, after arguing the case before the Fifth Circuit and then at the Texas Supreme Court. Learn more about the win here.
