Emma Simmonds Named Insolvency & Restructuring Lawyer of the Year at Euromoney Women in Business Law Awards

(London) – Akin Gump is pleased to share that, at the Euromoney Women in Business Law Awards (WIBLA) Europe ceremony held today, financial restructuring partner Emma Simmonds was named Insolvency & Restructuring – Lawyer of the Year.

This is the 11th year for WIBLA Europe, which celebrates gender diversity in law firms across Europe and recognizes women who are leading the field in the legal sector. According to organizers, the winning individuals and firms are decided by senior Euromoney Legal Media Group editorial staff following an extensive research process.

Earlier this year, Ms. Simmonds was honored with a Women, Influence & Power in Law UK Award (learn more here).
