Four Akin Gump Lawyers Named Latino Leaders

(Houston) – Latino Leaders Magazine has selected four Akin Gump lawyers for inclusion in its 2021 Top Latino Lawyers and Latino Lawyers to Keep on the Watch lists.

Akin Gump partner Eric Muñoz was recognized as a Top Latino Lawyer, with associates Ashley Garcia, Alan Carrillo and Victor Salcedo being named to the publication’s Latino Lawyers to Keep on the Watch list, which highlights lawyers that are on the “path to become top Latino lawyers in the future.”

This is the seventh consecutive year that Latino Leaders Magazine has published its Top Latino Lawyers list. Honorees were selected based on individual achievements and recognitions, community involvement and affiliation with bar associations.

Last year, Mr. Muñoz was named a Texas Lawyer Diversity & Inclusion Champion, which recognized those who “has overcome insurmountable odds to achieve success,” or has had “an outsized influence on inclusivity initiatives to make people of all backgrounds feel welcomed at their firm or organization.” To learn more, click here.
