Kevin Wolf Named a Two-Time Client Service All-Star MVP
For the second year in a row, BTI Consulting Group has selected Akin international trade partner Kevin Wolf as an All-Star MVP as part of its BTI Client Service All-Stars 2023. BTI’s annual Client Service list recognizes those attorneys who are “delivering the absolute best client service – better than all the others” based on data collected through BTI’s annual survey of general counsel.
According to BTI, clients describe Kevin, who served as Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Export Administration, Bureau of Industry and Security, as having “considerable expertise in trade compliance and responsiveness” and understanding their “business expectations well.” Clients also remarked that Kevin’s “level of expertise in the trade regulations area is rare."
The profile by BTI also highlights Kevin’s client philosophy: “The highest compliments I receive as a lawyer are that (i) I explain complex issues simply; (ii) the client feels like they’re my only client; (iii) I provide the policy for why the regulation is what it is, not just what it is; and (iv) I distinguish carefully between legal advice and compliance counseling.
