LA Times Again Names Three Akin Partners as “Visionaries” in Banking and Finance
Los Angeles Times has once again recognized three Akin media & entertainment partners Marissa Román Griffith, Alissa Miller and Vanessa Roman in its Banking and Finance Visionaries feature.
As L.A. Times noted, “these individuals are the thought leaders and innovators who are meeting today’s challenges and charting the financial path toward a secure tomorrow for corporations and clients.”
Marissa is characterized as a “trailblazer and influencer in media and entertainment law.” She is spotlighted for her leadership beyond her legal work and active contribution to diversity and mentoring initiatives within the firm’s Los Anges office. Marissa is also noted for serving as a trustee of the Mexican American Bar Foundation and on the advisory board of Female Executives in Media & Entertainment. “Her expertise is recognized by industry publications and legal organizations, and she is consistently named among the field’s leading lawyers by Variety and Euromoney’s Expert Guides.”

Vanessa, L.A.
