Nina Orendain Selected for DHBA La Luz Award
Akin investment management practice attorney Nina Orendain has been selected as a recipient for the Dallas Hispanic Bar Association’s (DHBA’s) La Luz Award, which recognizes those “who are lighting the path to the legal profession for Latinas and Latinos in the Dallas community.”
She will be recognized at DHBA’s annual fundraiser, Noche de Luz, which supports several DHBA initiatives, including law student scholarships, the Dallas Latina Leadership Program, the DHBA Judicial Externship Program and several other initiatives.
Earlier this year, Nina was a recipient of the Legal Aid of NorthWest Texas’ Louise Raggio Women’s Legal Advocate award (read more here).
