Akin financial restructuring partner, Kate Doorley has been named by Turnarounds & Workouts to its 2024 list of Outstanding Young Restructuring Lawyers.
The noteworthy matters highlighted by T&W were Kate’s representation of:
- An ad hoc group of existing first lien term loan lenders in the completion of a major recapitalization of Yak Access, led by its principal equity holder, Platinum Equity.
- The ongoing representation of the Tort Claimants’ Committee in the chapter 11 cases of Rite Aid Corporation.
- Special counsel to the Opioid Claimants’ Committee in the chapter 11 cases of Endo International.
