U.S.-Russia Chamber of Commerce Honors Leana Garipova

(Houston) – Leana Garipova, associate in the oil and gas practice at Akin Gump, was recognized at the U.S.-Russia Chamber of Commerce (USRCC)’s 10th anniversary reception for her outstanding contributions to the Chamber’s development. The ceremony, held in Houston, honored USRCC members and supporters whose dedication and contributions helped the organization continue its mission to shape business relations between Russia and the United States.

Ms. Garipova, whose practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, project finance and capital markets transactions, serves on the USRCC’s Young Professionals Committee, which engages people between the ages of 21-40 who are interested in promoting U.S.-Russia trade and investment.
