Yuzhe PengLing Named a NAPABA 2023-24 Leadership Advancement Program Fellow
Akin international trade counsel Yuzhe PengLing has been named to National Asian Pacific American Bar Association’s (NAPABA) 2023-24 Leadership Advancement Program (LAP).
According to the association, LAP is a year-long professional development program targeted at building leadership skills of the next generation of industry leaders, while also cultivating relationships with peers across the profession, including general counsel and law firm attorneys.
Akin lawyers have been consistently recognized and selected for leadership programs. In March, three Akin lawyers were selected by the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) to participate in the organization’s landmark programs:
- Corporate & finance partner Michelle Chan was among the LCLD Fellows, who undertake a professional development program that mentors the legal industry’s diverse leaders of tomorrow.
- Disputes & investigations counsel Shanna Miles and investment management & private equity counsel Jake Rodriguez were selected for LCLD Pathfinders, a professional program designed to train high-performing, early-career attorneys on foundational leadership and relationship-building.
