The Connecticut Data Privacy Act (CTDPA) is the fifth and latest comprehensive state consumer privacy law, giving companies doing business in the state less than two years to comply as the law will go into effect on July 1, 2023. The current state of consumer privacy laws involve multiple detailed consumer rights and company obligations that compliance plans will need to account for.
