Trump Executive Order Tracker | Akin Public Policy and Lobbying

This order establishes the White House Task Force on the FIFA World Cup 2026 to coordinate with executive departments and agencies to assist in the planning, organization, and execution of the events surrounding the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup and the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The Task Force shall be housed in the Department of Homeland Security, which shall provide funding and administrative support.

Within 240 days, the United States DOGE Service (USDS) Administrator must submit a report to the President on this order. Monthly, DOGE team leads must submit hiring reports.

This order makes it the policy of the United States that Federal health care programs, intellectual property protections, and safety regulations are optimized to provide access to prescription drugs at a lower cost to American patients and taxpayers. 
 
The order directs: (a) the Secretary of Health and Human Services (“Secretary”) to propose and seek comment on guidance for the Medicare Durg Price Negotiation Program within 60 days of the order; (b) the Assistant to the President for Domestic Policy, in coordination with the Secretary, the Director of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB Director), and the Assistant to the President for Economic Policy to provide recommendations to the President on how best to stabilize and reduce Medicare Part D premiums within 180 days of the order; and (c) the Secretary to work with Congress to modify the Medicare Durg Price Negotiation Program.

The Council on Environmental Quality (CEQ) must establish an interagency Permitting Innovation Center by April 30, 2025, to design and test permitting software tools. By May 30, 2025, CEQ, in coordination with permitting agencies and the National Energy Dominance Council, must issue a Permitting Technology Action Plan outlining data standards, software requirements, and a governance roadmap.
