Keeping Education Accessible and Ending COVID-19 Vaccine Mandates in Schools (Trump EO Tracker)

This order establishes a policy of the federal government to aggressively combat health challenges facing Americans, including mental health, obesity, diabetes, and other chronic diseases. The order establishes the President’s Make America Healthy Again Commission, composed of officials across the federal government, chaired by the Secretary of Health and Human services, and the Assistant to the President for Domestic Policy serving as the Executive Director. 

The order establishes a federal policy that prohibits the use of discretionary federal funds to support or subsidize educational institutions that require COVID-19 vaccinations for in-person attendance. It directs the Secretary of Education to issue guidelines to schools, educational agencies, and higher education institutions outlining the legal obligations of these entities regarding parental authority, religious freedom, disability accommodations, and equal protection under the law, as relevant to coercive COVID-19 school mandates.

Introduces the “Fair and Reciprocal Plan,” which directs agencies to initiate all necessary actions to investigate any harmful non-reciprocal trade arrangement utilized by trading partners of the United States.  Agencies will report to the President with proposed remedies for any trading partner employing a practice against U.S. products, businesses, workers, and consumers that the United States does not currently match.  The Memorandum applies to all global trading partners; there is no geographic limit of scope.

Establishes the National Energy Dominance Council with the Secretary of the Interior, and Secretary of Energy and Chair and Vice Chair. The Order assigns the council to advice the President on various energy related matters, and to consult other agencies, sub-national and Tribal officials, and the private sector to inform their recommendations.

Imposes maximum pressure on the Iranian regime to end its nuclear threat, curtail its ballistic missile program, and stop its support for terrorist groups. Relevant Secretaries are required to impose and enforce sanctions, review previously issued sanctions waivers and general licenses, implement a campaign to drive Iran’s export of oil to zero, lead a diplomatic campaign to isolate Iran, and conduct an export control enforcement campaign to restrict the flow of technology and components. The Attorney General is directed to pursue all legal steps to investigate, prosecute, and disrupt efforts by the Iranian government to obtain sensitive information. 

Requires all officers or employees charged with implementing the foreign policy of the United States to do so under the direction and authority of the President. Failure to faithfully implement the President’s policy is grounds for professional discipline, including separation. The Secretary of State will reform the Foreign Service and administration of foreign relations to be faithful to the President’s agenda.
