(Washington, D.C.) – Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP announced today that 39 of the firm’s associates have been promoted to counsel.

Akin Gump’s counsel position recognizes those associates who are in line for partnership and have consistently demonstrated excellence in representing the firm’s clients. More than 250 associates have been promoted to counsel since 1999.
