Akin Gump international trade partners Stephen Kho and Alan Yanovich and counsel Yujin McNamara have contributed chapters to the new book The Practical Aspects of WTO Litigation, published by Wolters Kluwer.

The book is an account of the World Trade Organization’s dispute settlement procedures, and explains and identifies the practices normally followed by disputing parties when using the WTO’s dispute settlement understanding, which entered into force in 1995.

Kho and McNamara wrote the chapter “More than Just ‘Checking the Box’: Recognizing the Importance of WTO Consultations,” while Yanovich wrote the chapter “General Considerations for Appeal.”
