Akin Gump regulatory practice steering committee chair Hal Shapiro was quoted by Communications Daily for its article “Communications Lawyers Staying Busy Despite COVID-19,” which discussed how busy law firms’ communications practices are during this pandemic.
Shapiro said that Akin Gump’s communications and information technology practice continues to be very busy “advising clients on COVID-related funding opportunities, communications restructurings including Intelsat, projects that will utilize drone technology for humanitarian purposes, and the everyday needs of our client.”
