Akin Gump financial restructuring partner Naomi Moore and counsel Jeremy Haywood have authored an updated Q&A article for Practical Law’s “Restructuring and insolvency in Hong Kong: overview.”

The article, which appears in the Global Guide 2021, begins with an overview of some of the most common forms of security granted over immovable and movable property. It also looks at some of the main rescue and reorganization procedures in Hong Kong and whether state support for distressed businesses is available.
