Akin lobbying & public policy senior consultant and former House Ways and Means Committee Chair Kevin Brady speaks to The Washington Post about the future of tax law if President-elect Donald Trump takes office with a unified GOP Congress.

The article, titled “For Trump and Republicans in Congress, ‘everything is in play’ on tax cuts” explores the likelihood that Trump will quickly push for new tax cuts if republicans win full control of Congress, cutting corporate rates and extending trillions of dollars of additional cuts as the national debt rises.

Regarding concerns about debt and deficit increases, Chairman Brady tells The Washington Post “to dig our way out of it…requires economic growth and spending restraint.”
