The Washington Post, in its article “Biden to sign sweeping artificial intelligence executive order,” quoted Akin lobbying & public policy senior counsel Reggie Babin. The article discusses the anticipated artificial intelligence (AI) executive order from President Biden.

Reggie said that the executive order will send a “signal to the world” about United States priorities for AI regulation, adding that, until now, the U.S. has not played a “central role in terms of laying out a clear vision of enforceable policy in the way that our status as a global leader might suggest that we should.”
