For its article “Britney Spears’ $15 Million Book Deal Shows Why Success Is The Best Revenge,” Forbes quoted Akin Gump media partner Vanessa Roman on the $15 million deal offered Britney Spears for her memoir.
Regarding the potential benefit of this book deal for Spears, Roman said, “I imagine before the book comes out, Netflix and her publisher will be calling her to turn it into a TV show or movie or limited series for another large, if not the same amount. I don’t know who isn’t going to buy that book.”
