The past couple of weeks have been much busier on the ground than in orbit – or at least it seems that way – with big space policy announcements around the globe. The U.S. government released the first significant update to U.S. export controls rules related to space technology since 2014 (read our analysis here), ESA announced measures to help the struggling European space industry, and China pushes hard for a lunar outpost (and accuses foreign intelligence services of trying to steal its secrets).
