Akin Advises Climate United Fund in its $31 Million Financing for Scenic Hill’s Solar Energy Project

(New York and Washington, D.C.) – Akin advised Climate United Fund, the prime grant recipient for the Climate United coalition, in its $31.8 million pre-construction financing for Scenic Hill Solar’s solar energy project providing power to the University of Arkansas system. The financing will support 18 solar projects across 13 utility service territories.
This is Climate United's first investment of the $6.97 billion it received from the Environmental Protection Agency’s National Clean Investment Fund. The transaction will facilitate development of the largest commercial and industrial solar project in Arkansas.
