Akin Advises on Comprehensive Recapitalization Transaction of Consolis Group

(London) – Akin advised the ad hoc group of creditors to the Consolis group in the successful implementation of its comprehensive recapitalization.
The transaction closed November 28 with the creditors becoming the Group’s majority shareholders through an effective debt-for-equity swap and participation in the provision of exit financing.
The Akin team was led by financial restructuring partners James Terry and Jacquie Ingram, financial restructuring associate Matthew Finnie, finance counsel Chris Parrott and finance associate Ruth Butterworth.
