Akin Advises Spire in Acquisition of MoGas and Omega Pipeline Systems

(Houston) – Akin advised Spire, Inc. in its agreement to acquire MoGas Pipeline and Omega Pipeline from CorEnergy Infrastructure Trust for $175 million.
MoGas owns and operates approximately 263 miles of interstate natural gas pipelines, which interconnect with Spire STL Pipeline and other regional pipelines to deliver gas in Missouri. Omega’s 75-mile natural gas distribution system is interconnected with the MoGas system. Together, the acquisitions are expected to complement Spire’s existing natural gas portfolio and support future growth.
