Akin Advises TWFG Insurance in its Initial Public Offering of Common Stock

(Houston) – Akin advised TWFG, Inc., a leading independent distribution platform for personal and commercial insurance, on its initial public offering of common stock. TWFG is offering 11,000,000 shares of its Class A common stock, with a price to the public of $17.00 per share for gross proceeds of $187.0 million. TWFG has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 1,650,000 shares at the initial public offering price, less underwriting discounts and commissions.
The shares began trading on the Nasdaq Global Select Market on July 18, 2024 under the symbol “TWFG.”
