Akin Continues Energy Practice Growth with Addition of Trent Bridges in Houston

(Houston) – Akin is pleased to announce that energy transactions partner Trent Bridges has joined the firm’s Houston office. He joins the firm from Sidley Austin and previously served as vice president and assistant general counsel for Magellan Midstream Partners, L.P.
Bridges represents clients on a range of energy transactions, infrastructure development projects and investments, with a particular emphasis on the midstream industry. He has extensive experience advising on acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, greenfield projects and investments across the oil and gas value chain. He also represents clients advancing the energy transition, to include infrastructure projects and investments related to sustainable fuels, carbon capture, net-zero goals, and hydrogen.
