Akin Gump Advises Aliante Casino Hotel and Spa in Boyd Gaming Deal

(New York) – On April 21, Boyd Gaming Corporation announced it had entered into a definitive agreement to acquire ALST Casino Holdco, LLC, the holding company of Aliante Casino Hotel and Spa, for an expected total net cash consideration of approximately $380 million. Akin Gump advised Aliante in the deal. The deal closed on September 28.

Aliante is an upscale, resort-style casino and hotel in North Las Vegas offering premium accommodations, gaming, dining, entertainment and retail.

Daniel Fisher, a partner in Akin Gump’s corporate practice, led the team advising Aliante. He was joined by counsel Eli Miller and associate Megan Spelman.
