Akin Gump Advises Assured Healthcare Partners in $590M Portfolio Sale

(New York) – Akin Gump represented Assured Healthcare Partners in the $590 million sale of a 50-skilled-nursing-facility portfolio managed by its portfolio company, Regency Integrated Health Services, to The Jack and Nancy Dwyer Workforce Development Center, Inc. (DWD).
The portfolio has approximately 4,400 employees, serves 4,600 residents and will transition from a for-profit to a not-for-profit organization under the deal. DWD’s mission is to provide comprehensive support to individuals who lack opportunity and aspire to pursue a career in the health care industry, alleviate a severe health care workforce shortage and improve the lives of seniors (learn more here).
