Akin Gump Advises Fairhold Securitisation Limited in £1 Billion Financial Restructuring

(London) – Akin Gump has advised Fairhold Securitisation Limited in connection with the £1 billion restructuring of its distressed securitisation structure, which included its £413,700,000 Class A secured floating rate notes due 2017 and £29,800,000 Class B secured floating rate notes due 2017 as well as its swap liabilities.
The closing of the restructuring took place on Friday, September 25. The restructuring resulted in the transfer of the property-owning companies in the Fairhold Group to a new group ultimately owned by Fairhold’s noteholders and swap counterparties.
