Akin Gump Advises FirstEnergy in Closing of Tender Offers

(NEW YORK) – Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP advised FirstEnergy Corp. with respect to the cash tender offers for two series of notes of its subsidiary, FirstEnergy Solutions Corp., and two series of notes of its subsidiary, Allegheny Energy Supply Company, LLC. The tender offers for three of the aforementioned series settled on March 14, and the tender offer for the fourth series settled today.
