(Houston) – Akin Gump advised Memorial Production Partners LP in an underwritten public offering of 4,661,663 common units representing limited partner interests owned by MRD Holdco LLC (MRDH).

MRDH will receive all of the net proceeds from the offering, and it has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 699,249 common units.

Akin Gump oil & gas and natural resources partner John Goodgame and counsel Rebecca Tyler led the team representing Memorial Production Partners. They were joined by tax partner Thomas Weir, and associates Heather Ashour Cynthia Angell, also members of the firm’s oil & gas and natural resources practice.
