(Philadelphia) – Akin Gump’s Philadelphia office is set to relocate to 1735 Market Street, one of Philadelphia’s premier office buildings in the heart of the city’s central business district, later this month. The firm’s new 16-year lease includes the full 12th floor of the building.
Akin Gump’s move from its current location at 2001 Market Street, follows Silverstein Properties’ acquisition of the iconic building at 1735 Market Street in March 2020. The firm was represented in the lease transaction by CBRE.
Rubén Muñoz, partner in charge of Akin Gump’s Philadelphia office, commented, “We are excited to make this move to a modern space that is more centrally located for our clients and is well suited to the collaborative culture of our office. 1735 Market Street offers a great blend of comfortable work space and top-notch amenities that our employees will find particularly appealing.”
