Akin Gump Wins Corporate Purpose Award, Two Finalist Recognitions at Am Law Awards

(New York) – Akin Gump is pleased to share that the firm was recognized at the annual American Lawyer Industry Awards with the Corporate Purpose Award.
The award honors an organization that has defined and executed on an initiative or overall mission that supports the well-being and welfare of its members or other stakeholders.
The firm was recognized for its five-pillar approach, which features diversity, equity and inclusion; social justice; pro bono; environmental, social and governance; and well-being, as the guiding principles for the firm’s ethos, policies and programs.
Additionally, the firm was named a finalist in the Best Provider Collaboration category for its pro bono work alongside immigration advocacy and assistance organization CASA to create remote clinics helping Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program applicants, and project finance and development partner Daniel Lynch was named a finalist in the Young Lawyer of the Year (Corporate) category.
Akin Gump’s Be Well program supporting holistic well-being was recognized in the inaugural Carolyn C.
