(Washington, D.C.) – The Association of Women in International Trade (WIIT) has named three Akin Gump lawyers as program section co-chairs.

International trade partner Suzanne Kane is a new co-chair of WIIT’s Supply Chains section, while partner Yujin McNamara and counsel Julia Eppard were named co-chairs of the Trade Remedies section, which won WIIT’s Program of the Year Award in 2020—a recognition of its level of section engagement.

The WIIT program sections host various events on international trade issues, featuring distinguished representatives from the private and public sector.

WIIT works to promote the professional development of women in international trade and business and to raise public awareness of the importance of international trade to economic development.
