Euromoney Shortlists Four at Akin Gump for Americas Rising Stars Awards

(New York) – Four Akin Gump partners have been shortlisted for the Euromoney Legal Media Group’s second annual Americas Rising Stars Awards. The awards celebrate rising star attorneys under the age of 40 that represent those “leading the field in the legal sector across the Americas.”
The finalists (and the categories in which they were shortlisted) are:
- Jesse Brush – Best in capital markets
- Meredith Lahaie – Best in insolvency & restructuring
- Iain Wood – Best in private equity (including venture capital)
- John Bain – Best in real estate
The awards will be presented at a ceremony in New York on September 12.
